Soho Kids Xmas Lights 2021

The children from Soho Parish School are bringing you the most magical Christmas yet…

The Soho Christmas lights have a unique theme this year involving the community. The installations have been designed by children from Soho Parish School under the direction of architect and RIBA Architecture Ambassador Antonio Capelao and will light up our vibrant streets this Christmas.

The creative and unique light designs which are hand drawn by the children of Soho Parish School, range from snowmen and Christmas trees to baubles and reindeer.  The heart-warming light installations show what it is like to experience Christmas through children’s eyes.

Antonio Capelao, architect and RIBA Architecture Ambassador, worked alongside, Hannah Peaty, art lead at Soho Parish School, and local Soho florist, Joao Rocha of Storm Flowers London, to create 21 lighting panels for this special project.

Soho Parish School held a competition to choose the Christmas designs, the judging panel included The Royal Institute of British Architects – RIBA, The National Gallery, Shaftesbury, St Anne’s Church, architect and RIBA Architecture Ambassador Antonio Capelao, Storm Flowers London and Soho Ward Councillors alongside ex pupils from the school.
