I partnered with City Lions to deliver a workshop to young people on careers in the games industry. I shared information about entry level roles in the sector, and routes in outside of a university degree, followed by a short activity to get the young people thinking about creative game design solutions through the power of rock, paper, scissors!
It was amazing to work with such a diverse group of young individuals passionate to learn more about careers in the games industry. The folks at City Lions made it very easy and are endlessly passionate about providing opportunities for young people who would not otherwise have access to this information. I encourage any young person in the area to join City Lions!
