Support for Schools

Our school offer has been designed to support schools to meet certain requirements outlined by Ofsted and Gatsby. 

• Quality of education: Engagement with the programme complements a broad and varied curriculum, specifically offering options that simulate work place scenarios.
• Cultural capital: City Lions is designed to aid young people in the discovery, definition and consolidation of their own cultural capital and what it means to them. 
• Personal development: City Lions helps build young people’s resilience and confidence, helping them to discover or consolidate their participation in creative-based extra-curricular activities. 
• Gatsby Benchmarks: City Lions supports meeting Gatsby Benchmark criteria by providing access to high quality opportunities to engage with employers and professional work places. Our variety of programmes can support schools particularly with learning about careers and labour market information, linking the curriculum to careers, encounters with employers and employees, experiences of workplaces, and personal guidance (via our mentoring programme). 

Signing up to a City Lions programme is free for schools. We have a variety of programmes on offer, which can be explored below.
